Celebrity Fashion Experience

December,30,2010 I , Appiah Montgomery, got to attend the "Celebrity Fashion Experience" here in Dallas, TX  created by  FHM (Front House Management) . While I was there I got the opportunity to interview Famous Fashion Designer  Oscar Fierro, Bravo T.V's  Finalist  Recco Chapple , America's Next Top Model Cycle 15 winner Ann Ward , and many many more that will be shown in a few weeks here on this blog . I wouldn't have been able to do all of those interviews with out the help of  my personal and fabulous tour guides by the Name of Juan Lerma and Eric Oliver Jr , and of course Ron Smith ! The Fashion Show was Amazing for every last piece of clothing creations by the Designers was something new and not something seen before ! The Models Posed and Strut the Runway as pro's , and made there Designers very very proud . For all who didn't come missed on this special event! Until next time That's My show Kidsntheknow ;) 

IT'S GONNA BE A POWER UP NIGHT ON SNL!

Lil Wayne, Eminem, Jeff Bridges


All three will share the stage on Saturday Night Live, better known as, SNL on the next episode. Of course, Jeff Bridges, son of actor Lloyd Bridges, as the host of the show. Should be good considering all of them power houses. Oh, if I didn't mention to tell you that Bridges has a band and he actually can sing. They might swipe roles. Possible that he might surprise us to collaborate and sing one for us with the rappers! You never know.

 On top of that, the costumes were somewhat difficult because the Olivia Wilde character in real life had to make 11 fittings in order for her to not just look good but the custom had to feel good, too. And they had to do martial arts which she had to relearn again and all the stunts she had to perform in tall wedged boots all because of the costume. The costumes had battery powered lights on them, in which they had hurry and do the scenes before lights turned off because they lasted for only 12 minutes. Also, the lights on the suits were soo fragile that they had to stand and the cast was given stilts to lean against vertically so that they could be comfortable. Talk about play hard! UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Finally, we get to see the man behind the wimpy kid, Jeff Kinney. The reason why kids love his books so much is because it's one of those laughing-out-loud kind of books. There is a series of books where kids can follow the book really well. There's a movie out called Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. The newest book is out called Diary Of A Wimpy Kid - The Ugly Truth. I'm in favor of it and looking out for more!

USHER gets kicked in the face??

What A Way To Kick Off A Concert?


OMGosh!! Usher had a concert at Madison Square Garden on Monday. Usher, 32 year singer was kicked in the face by a screaming hyper fan. Basically, he put it this way as long as he's been performing its never happened to him. According to US Weekly, Usher considered it part of being in the business. Everyone laughed, luckily, including him. There's no injuries and she gave him a hug. The fan apologized over and over again to him. And as they say, the show must still go on, and it did.

Possible Bones of Earhart found!

For those of you who have never heard of Amelia Earheart, Amelia is the first woman to attempt to fly around the world, but she mysteriously disappeared in 1937. Earheart was believed to have crashed 100 miles off the coast of Howland Island in the Pacific Ocean on July 2nd 1973 . Today, Dec,17, 2010, Scientist from the University of Oklahoma in Norman have been analyzing her bones to verify the evidence . Who's That Girl, 2?

Madonna's second half, daughter Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, has come into her own. When she started school this year. She was surround by a pool of students at the best high school in New York, called LaGuardia High School of Music. 

Well, she has her own clothing line. Now, she has started her own fashion blog. Lourdes shows expression what she sees and thinks. For example, the gladiator shoes came out in 2008. And she was like O.K. they're cute. Then, 2009 came around and people were still wearing them, And Lourdes was like, NOT AGAINNNNN! Now, it's 2010 for the 3rd year and she was like please people your still wearing the same thing, O.K. NOOO!


Last but least, Lourdes is going to be in the last movie for Harry Potter-Deathly Hallows Part 2!

I must say gladiator shoes are my least favorites, as well. I refuse to wear them. It's just not my thing. But pretty much we were born one year after each other and also a month after each other and we both have great mothers. I wouldn't consider that luck, either!

Recently, Madonna has put up a private school in Africa. Started a new clothing line called Material Girl with her daughter Lourdes but she goes by Lola. And now, she started a fitness club in Mexico City, Mexico and Russia. Talk about busy! When you think of Madonna you think of unstoppable. I can think of someone else just like her. Hmmmmm! Actually, it's someone verrrrrry close to me!

Tempestt Bledsoe takes over Clean House 

Honestly, Tempestt Bledsoe as the host of Clean House on Style Network will make a great this show really do well. She will be the next diva no-clutter.  People will enjoy seeing her back on T.V. again. It took her a long time to decide to come back. She is replacing Niecy Nash which is now host on, Entertainment Tonight!

Those of you who don't remember her, Bledsoe  played the middle aged daughter, Vanessa Huxtable on the Cosby Show. As she can't wait to get people lives back on track by cleaning house!

Eminem Dominates The Nominees 

Eminem , 38,  Says Yahoo source that Eminem is leading the way with 10 Nominees for the Grammy's ! Also leading the way with Nominees is Bruno Mars with a total of 7 and Lady gaga, Jay-Z, Flamboyant, and Lady Antebellum who was Nominated 6. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber has been on an much higher level has been voted for Best New Artist . Some say that Eminem is over-rated rapper because he's a white guy in an all black industry who has made a lot of record sales because he's white.

But really, Em has made his mark because not only does he sale records but he's a serious rapper. He comes hard in his raps. Plus, he keeps up with the new vibe on the streets as he still maintains his own flavor that we can all recognize his sound when we hear his music.

We Remember her from "Legally Blonde 1&2"  , "Freeway",  "Walk the line", and etc ... Well now after all of her struggles, hard-work and dedication she has finally received  "The Walk of Fame"! Congrats Reese Witherspoon you deserve it!

TEEN WITH THE CONTROVERSIAL SMALL WAIST FROM DALLAS WINS

The new model crowned CW's America's Next Top Model 2010 is our very own 6'2, Dallas native texan, 19,  Ann Ward. Ward, worked really hard to earn her spot to get a modeling contract and a spread in Italian Vogue and a $100,000 Cover Girl cosmetics contract. Literally, pretty much anyone can put their hands around her waist. I know Mr. Jay did!

Back home in Texas, Ward, speaks openly on the show about how people at school were mean to her, ignored her, made fun of her because of her slender Amazon figure. So, for someone like her it made it hard for her to embarrass her height. Both height and waist are her features which is unique.

Ann sets the example for all girls around her genre who have been bullied for simply being different and stand outish.

Short Interview with Local Nutcrackers Melanie Vargas

Melanie Vargas ,13, is  very good  local talented Ballet dancer and Ice Skater, so I took some time off to ask her about her Career,and How it got started,and Why she loves it .

Kidsntheknow:  How long have you been dancing?


Melanie : 11 years


Kidsntheknow:  Where have you performed at and which is your favorite ?


Melanie : Irving Arts Center, Garland Theatre, and Prince of Peace Performing Arts Center. Fav. Irving Arts Center

Kidsntheknow : Ballet and Ice Skating ? Which one do you have more fun with ?

Melanie :More fun? Ballet. But 'Which one do i like more?' their both equal.

Kidsntheknow: Who helped you get your start ?

Melanie : Skating- saw some girls skating at Galleria (when i was 2) and wanted to try it. Ballet- we were walking by the window (when i was 2) and wanted to try!

State Fair Classic Prairie View VS. Gramblin State 2010

Getting all the main attractions for Dallas fairgrounds main games of the season of football. The Southwest State Fair Classic Game traditionally takes place at the Cotton Bowl. On Saturday, September 25, 2010 college football teams Grambling State  University  Tigers vs. Prairie View A & M University Panthers and The Grambling team who both battle of the bands and they won game 34-17!

Before half-time I got to spend time with Lil Jon, also radio station hosts/comedian from 97.9 The Beat-Rudy Rush and K-104 Bay Bay, Flava TV-Skip Cheetam.

Here with B-Hamp ,who you all know created the Ricky Bobby ! You can hear his song on the radio on any rap station ! We interviewed him at the Summer Fest ! He is fun , hard  not to  love and you will see that on our interview !
