Hard to believe that I serve for three years as National Delegate for Texas, U.S. government, my school district, and my school. I was very honored to be in this position. As I got to vote on major leadership roles major issues concerning our country, along side with my teen fellow sister of the girl scouts both women and girls from all over the world. That's what calls for my position to do. There was all kinds of business meetings, workshops, receptions, and parties that was mandatory for my attendance. I came to realized that my first priority was to the business of girl scouts The Ceremony opened up with Katie Couric (@katiecouric) is an award-winning journalist and TV personality, well-known cancer advocate, and New York Times bestselling author of The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons from Extraordinary Lives. She joined the Disney/ABC Television Group in summer 2011 and serves as special correspondent for ABC News, contributing to ABC World News,Nightline, 20/20, Good Morning America, This Week, and primetime news specials. Beginning in September 2012, she will host a new syndicated daytime daily talk show, Katie. and ended with news anchor Robin Roberts from Good Morning America she has been under her leadership, the broadcast has won three consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Morning Program. Roberts has more than 20 years of broadcasting under her belt, having interviewed personalities that include President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, actor Sidney Poitier, and basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. She has done extensive reporting around the globe, traveling to the Middle East with former First Lady Laura Bush, who was on a mission to raise awareness about breast cancer in the Muslim world; to Africa with former President Bill Clinton for a firsthand look at the AIDS crisis in that part of the world; and to Mexico, where she scaled the Mayan pyramids as part of GMA's "The New 7 Wonders of the World" series. Also of note is Roberts' in-depth coverage of the devastation and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.. So many people came to speak as key speakers, including appointed new Anna Maria Chávez is the CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA. A first generation Mexican-American, Chávez was a Girl Scout in her native Arizona and would later become an aide to then-Governor Janet Napolitano. She has been CEO of the Girl Scout's Southwest Texas Council since 2009, according to GSblog and the talent performing. Then not to mention Michelle Obama took the time to speak to us. What an honor!
